The concept behind L’Atelier 2.0 is closely related to my painting experience. My name is Catherine Marchi-Uhel. It all started in the 1990s when I was a young judge in charge of juveniles and painting using my sister’s oil equipment was very much a soul saving exercise. To a very limited extent, painting accompanied my international law experience in Sarajevo, Pristina, The Hague and Phnom Penh as well as in my Normand haven of peace.

 

Since I retired from the United Nations in April 2024 I embarked in a new adventure at the heart of which is my tribe and art. I opened L’Atelier 2.0 in Kosovo in November 2024 and I have already produced more oils and watercolors in half a year than in the past 20 years!

 

I create paintings following my inspiration and I can also produce paintings on command. These paintings are for sale or rent.
